Serving Opportunities

At Redemption Church we do church as a family. In a family, everyone has to do their part. This is why we ask each person who calls Ridgeline “home” to help share the load by serving in some way. We believe Saved People Serve People, and everyone who serves at Redemption is apart of our mission to see lives changed by Jesus and Disciples made.

Each week, we have people attend Redemption who don’t know Jesus and therefore, we invest a great deal of time, effort, and energy into ensuring we create a comfortbale, distraction-free environment. We believe this helps people focus on the message being preached each week.

Below is a description for each of our ministry team. Once you’ve decided where you would like to participate, fill out the form provided and we will get you plugged in. We value everyone's participation so that as a family we can carry the mission forward.

Setup & Tear Down

We exist to support all the other missional teams in preparing the church for our Sunday services and ensuring they have everything they need for a smooth worship service. We do this by:

Making sure the rooms are clean and ready for guests.

Setting out chairs and equipment needed for the worship gathering.

Placing signage around the building so people can find Redemption Church easily on a Sunday morning.

After the worship gathering help tear down, and clean up, making sure we leave the rooms in better condition than we found them.

No special skills are needed! All you need is a servant’s heart, and the ability to adjust to whatever may come up on a Sunday morning.

Kids’ Ministry

Each week we serve families by offering a safe, age appropriate environment where the Bible is taught in fun, creative, relevant ways to children( babies through 5th grade). We do this by:

Greeting families and helping them get checked into Kid’s Ministry. We want parents to know their kids are safe and well cared for so they can relax and focus on being a part of the weekly worship gathering.

Keeping the kids ministry safe, clean, and fun by serving in roles like caring for babies in the nursery, interacting with kids, leading discussion, and assisting the leaders in games and activities.

Communicating with parents when things like diaper changes or other issues arise.

We realize that by serving in the Kid’s Ministry you will miss out on the Sunday Worship Gathering, by making that sacrifice you are serving and blessing the families of Redemption Church. We want to ensure that this is a safe, clean, & loving environment for our kids at all times. To support this, all people serving in Redemption Kids must complete an application and pass a background check.

Guest Services

Joining Guest Services means being the welcoming face of Redemption Church to each guest that comes on a Sunday morning. We do this by:

Making a positive first impression the moment guest enter the building.

Directing people to the worship gathering, kid’s ministry, coffee station, and bathrooms.

Help people connect by answering questions, or connecting them to the right people.

Manning the Welcome Table, and giving welcome gifts to new guests at the end of service.

Thanking people for coming and inviting them back next week.

We want people to know they are welcomed and loved at Redemption Church.

Worship Team

We work hard to produce gospel-proclaiming, Jesus-praising worship gatherings where the Word of God is proclaimed and life-change is expected. Each week we progress through a journey of opening our mouth to praise, our hearts to love, opening our ears to hear, and opening our Bibles to learn. We do this by:

Leading worship through singing and playing music.

Meeting weekly to prepare and practice.

Continue to grow in skill and develop our talents.

We are imperfect people who believe in brining our best. If you are interested in the worship team, you will be asked to fill out a worship team application and will be asked to practice with the band before being put on the stage or schedule.

Production Team

The production team works hard to support the church through audio, visual, and service production. Every week we work hard to create an atmosphere that allows for worship and preaching to be unhindered by distraction. We do this by:

Running the sound, lights, and media presentations used on Sunday morning

Meeting for special trainings

Continuing to grow in skills
