Good Friday:

We invite you and your family to join us on Good Friday at 7:00PM. Join us as we consider why Good Friday is considered good for those who follow Jesus! This is a family style gathering, there will be no Kid's Ministry, but Kids are welcome to worship with their families.

Easter Sunday:

We invite you and your family to join us at 10:30AM on Easter Sunday as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The people are friendly and authentic. The messages are filled with truth, hope, and humor. The music is live, modern, and inspiring. The Kids' Ministry is fun, safe, and all about Jesus.

ANSWERS TO THESE QUESTIONS:

  • Our Sunday Worship Gatherings are on Sundays at 10:30AM. Our address is 420 W Boone Street Belvidere, Ill 61008

  • About 90 minutes. Our worship gatherings consist of the following elements.

    We will spend time praising God through song. Our worship team will lead us, and the words to the songs are put on screens so you can sing along. We invite you to participate how you feel comfortable.

    We will take communion together. If you're not sure what that's all about, no worries. We'll explain everything and there is never any pressure to participate in communion.

    We will study scripture together. Whoever is speaking on Sunday will share a message straight from the scriptures that is filled with hope, unfiltered truth, and practical application for our lives. We will put all the scriptures on the screens so you can see the Word of God for yourself.

    We will pray together. In fact if you would like to be prayed for, we have a team of people who would love to pray with you after the gathering.

    We will take an offering. Giving is a part of our worship. There is no pressure to give. Your giving honors God and fuels and funds the ministries of Redemption Church.

  • Wear whatever you are most comfortable with. Every Sunday people wear everything from a suit to their favorite sports team apparel. We are much more concerned about what's going on inside of a person than the outside. Our pastor usually wears blue jeans and something comfortable.

  • Every Sunday (babies through 5th grade) are invited to experience a safe, age appropriate environment where the Bible is taught in fun, creative, relevant ways. 

    Each week we have a team of background- checked volunteers who are committed to provided your children with one of the best hours of their week!

  • We have a small parking lot connected to the church. There is also street parking along Boone Street.
